Bring your family and friends to “Prepare the Way” Sunday, Nov. 29, at 4:00 p.m.We will begin with the Hanging of the Green and preparing the facility for the advent season.Afterward, in the sanctuary at 5:00 p.m. we will join together in prayerfully preparing our souls with a time of celebration as Dr. Ott leads us in a time of worship and carols that represent the season.Following this we will gather in the fellowship hall for the Annual Children’s Christmas Ministry Chili Supper Fund-raiser at 6:00 p.m.This supper is a fun-raiser to help us minister to under-privileged children in our area.Last year we were able to touch approximately 75 children with the love of Jesus Christ, thanks to your donations.As always there is no charge for the meal, but a love offering will be taken.If you would like to donate a pot of chili, or have any questions, please contact James orDenise Whited at 243-9292.THANK YOU!

Ladies, mark your calendars! On Saturday, February 6th, we are having a Women’s Conference here at First UMC. Our guest speaker will be Sarah Holifield, of First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Sarah has just written a Bible study book on the Book of Revelation.
