Softball Game

BIBLE STUDY WITH A KICK

First United Methodist Church is offering a Martial Arts Bible Study. They are offering a preschool age class (4-6 years), a youth class (7-12 years) and an adult class (13 and up). Classes meet twice a week and are designed to build the student’s knowledge of taekwondo while strengthening their walk with God. ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS

Currently the youth ministry is preparing to recognize the high school graduating seniors. 5K RUN/WALK

The Youth Ministry is hosting the New Orleans Rescue Run, a 5k Run/Walk May 24, at 8 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church. Pre-registration is $15 and registration the day of the race is $18. The Kids Fun Run is $10 beginning at 9 a.m. Benefits from the race will go to the youth missions trip to New Orleans. For more information, contact Margaret Nordlie at 865-4109.

Tapes or CDs of each weeks sermon are available to order by calling or coming into the church office and filling out an order form. They are free and are ready in about a week.

SHARING AND CARING

The local emergency food bank, Sharing and Caring, is in need of donations. Any of the following are appreciated: baby food, canned vegetables, tuna, soup, rice, beans, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly and cereal.
