What is Disciple?
Disciple Bible Study is an exciting and dynamic approach to Bible Study created by The United Methodist Church. Participants will read assigned portions of scripture on a daily basis utilizing one theme each week to organize the study and reflection for that week. Once a week, participants will meet with the group (usually 10-14 per group) and discuss the weekly material. This allows for growth and fellowship in a small group setting. Participants will be strengthened in their faith and in the process become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Who can participate?
Disciple is a non-denominational Bible study. All are welcomed and it is open to the community. Classes are offered each fall and registration begins the first of August.

The following classes will be offered this fall:

DISCIPLE I
Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study
DESCRIPTION: A 34-week study (17 weeks on the OT and 17 weeks on the NT), utilizing one theme each week to organize the study and reflection for that week.
PREREQUISITE: None
TIME AND DAY: To Be Announced

DISCIPLE III
Remember Who You Are
DESCRIPTION: A 32-week study of Old Testament prophets and the letters of Paul, themes of the call to remember, the call to repentance, the need for renewed vision, and the place of community.
PREREQUISTE: DISCIPLE I
TIME AND DAY: 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday

Please contact the church office to sign up for either of these classes before August 25th. You will be contacted by the facilitator regarding the orientation class and need for childcare.
